Sandra + Hugo

sandra + hugo: walnut grove, ca grand island mansion

They don’t call the Grand Island Mansion “grand” for no reason. This place is spectacular!! The venue is located in Walnut Grove in the heart of the lush Delta region. It has everything you need for a gorgeous outdoor event and more. Some of the amenities that caught our eye were the Historic Italian Renaissance Villa, the courtyard garden with flowing fountains, the vintage wrought iron gazebo, and the luxurious overnight guest rooms. When you couple those gorgeous grounds with a fun couple like Sandra and Hugo you get some really stunning images. Windie said it best when she described the Canedo wedding as a fairytale :) The venue was perfect, and the bride and groom looked fabulous. To top it off, dinner was amazing and the stories shared during toasting were hilarious. It was surely a night to remember! When we first met these two we couldn’t help but see how much Hugo loves his wife. When he contacted us we could tell how important it was to him that his then fiancé was happy. It's pretty rare that the groom contacts the wedding photographers for a consult, that just goes to show how much thought Hugo put into making their wedding day special. We can not say enough great things about these two. We wish you both a life of longevity, laughter, & love. Check out some of their wedding day images below.

Nicole + James

nicole + james: old sacramento, california

To say that Nicole and James make a cute couple is an understatement. Their chemistry together is simply amazing. From our first meeting with Nicole at her family owned shop, she’s been as sweet as pie. Her laid back easy going demeanor was so refreshing. The stress of wedding planning can be overwhelming at times, but Nicole took our consult like two friends catching up over coffee. Just awesome to say the least. We decided on Old Sacramento as the location for their engagement session and by the looks of these gorgeous photos, Old Sacramento was a winner. I told them to relax, be themselves, and have fun. They did exactly that and the session went phenomenal. Check out a few of their lovey-dovey photographs below.
