A few months ago we held an FB contest with a Grand Prize of a free engagement session. The contest winners were Jessica & Mike a super cool couple from Lodi who we had a blast shooting with. We had the privilege of capturing love on camera while following these two around historic downtown Lodi and the majestic oak tree woods of Yokuts Trail. Jessica had the most amazing green eyes just like two fiery emeralds.  These two were a perfect match. Their fun personalities and naturally bubbly smiles made them a joy to work with. Jessica & Mike were so comfortable together that there was very little need for direction. The love that they displayed while shooting, shines right through to their pictures. To say that Nicole and James make a cute couple is an understatement. Their chemistry together is simply amazing. From our first meeting with Nicole at her family owned shop, she’s been as sweet as pie. Her laid back easy going demeanor was so refreshing. The stress of wedding planning can be overwhelming at times, but Nicole took our consult like two friends catching up over coffee. Just awesome to say the least. We decided on Old Sacramento as the location for their engagement session and by the looks of these gorgeous photos, Old Sacramento was a winner. I told them to relax, be themselves, and have fun.
